Vampires
To become a vampire a human must have been fed upon from one recently so their venom is within them, and then must feed upon the same vampire, directly from the source. The transformation may take up to four days. The body starts to deteriorate and die, once the process is complete, the human has become a vampire. When first created the new vampire will be wild with new heightened senses, and a thirst so deep that it would be best for all secrecy if the Sire will stay with the new vampire until they learn their strengths and how to be discreet about their hungers.
Vampires can blend in with the crowd, but they have a special ability, influence, once they make eye contact with a human, they are drawn to them, unless they decide to drop the gaze, then the human is left forgetting what they were just going to do. Of course that is only if they desire to use their hypnotic stares.
Vampires must drink human blood, however they choose to acquire it, whether it is violent or peaceful, is completely up to the nature of the human they were, or the vampire they became, which ever is most predominant. Vampires have been known to steal blood from hospital and blood donor sites so that way they don't have to acquire it by force or use influence.
Vampires that live in covens often have human slaves that live to serve the coven by either free will, force or influence. They can feed on them at any time they choose.
There are Vampires who live in a coven, and those who live on their own. Either way they all must respect the Elder in their area. Those who choose coven life are usually social vampires who enjoy the thrill of being around one another, and never having to worry about blood. Yes they can still hunt. But they have a safe place to return to when the sun rises.
Those who are on their own are typically the loner type, but still must report to the elder if called upon to answer for something, such as draining a body and leaving it out for police to find, or anything that would compromise the knowledge of their existence.
The Elder can decide the fate of any vampire in their area. Best not to cross them. the older a vampire gets the stronger they get.
All races aside from the Human race know the existence of the Vampires.
A vampire's natural enemy is a Werewolf.
Strengths Heightened senses, incredible speed and physical strength, once they impale their victims a venom is released into the blood stream that stuns the human, and puts them in a trance like state, to help the vampire remain inconspicuous. Immortal in the aging sense. They never grow from the day they are turned. Immune to all diseases. Vampires have no need to breath, although they do out of habit. Regeneration (from impact wounds, and sun light burns). They can be hypnotic once they hold a human gaze, and work their influence over them.
Weaknesses UV light- will cause death if in too long, and severe burns if exposed, any type of impalement in their heart will kill them, strong smells (such as garlic) due to their heightened senses. If they do not rest during the day they will be weaker that night, their influence may not be as strong either, and a human can resist their hypnotic stares, and possible the venom that impales them.
When filling out the application, make sure you mention whether they live in the coven in town or are on their own. Also describe their nature before and after being sired. Make sure you mention their siring in the history as well. [/size]

Hunters
Hunters are skilled humans with knowledge and hatred towards supernatural races.
Their sole purpose in life is to protect human life, and eliminate as many threats as they can on their way out the mortal door. Hunters do not need to hate all supernatural races, or even know of different existences.
Hunters usually carry a personal vendetta against the race(s) they hunt, they are either trained by an elder hunter in the strengths and weaknesses of their enemies, or born into a family with this passed down tradition.
A regular human does not wake up one morning and starts killing vampires, even if their family was just massacred the previous evening. They would need to find a teacher, yes kind of like a "Watcher", some kind of instructor who could tell that they had a fire within them. Feel free to have fun with this in your app.
Lastly, most hunters come from other places to town, for they know of the diverse population.

SHIFTERS
Shifters are just like regular humans except they can shift into any animal they make a connection with. It is very important they make the connection, so they gain the understanding that it takes to turn into that animal. The most common ones are dogs, and cats since they are the most domestic and accessible animals. They can't turn into anything they have never laid hands on and got to know, and in no circumstance can they turn into a human.
Shifters age just like humans, and the animals they shift into show their age. Young children may turn into a puppy, but as they grow older, they will turn into an older version of that dog.
The transformation is painless and exhilarating. They get an adrenaline rush each time that some may grow an addiction for, as with any kind of endorphin inducer.
Shifters also have heightened sense though not as high as some other supernatural beings. They can sense Werewolves and Vampires but not any kind of Demon.
Having the shifting gene is hereditary.

Werewolf
There is only one way to become a Werewolf, and that is to be born one. If both parents are werwolves the child is nearly guaranteed to become one, if one parent is and one is not it is a split chance. Just because the first born is one, doesn't mean the next one will be or wont be. It is just like will the child have blue eyes, or brown?
A werewolf does not like to be known as one. Therefore will keep the secret to themselves, in nearly all circumstances, unless of course it is telling a partner who is not one, or someone very close, such as a life time friend, or a child who is not one.
A werwolf can be apart of a pack, and therefore must obey the Alpha at all times. Alphas get to decide what happens within their pack, the direction they will take, who is friend and who is foe and of course, who stays and who goes. The Beta of the pack lives a life of servitude to the Alpha.The Beta usually carries out the Alpha's will and does the dirty work. Everyone else is just regular members. Being apart of a pack is being apart of a family.
A werewolf can a be on their own, and be their own boss. But that life can be lonely, especially around that time of the month. Werwolves can turn whenever they wish to, although they must go through an insane amount of pain, when they choose to turn they are in complete control of what they do while in werewolf form. But when the full moon rises, whether they want to change or not, they are in no control what so ever.
During the full moon packs will drive out together deep into the wilderness, far, far away from people and turn, when they wake up in the morning they did not hurt anyone and can return back to life in the city. Some lone wolves will try to chain themselves up during the night and try to stay in the city.
Werewolves remain agile and fit through their entire life. They turn until they die. They age very slowly. They can stay young for hundred of years.
A Werewolf's natural enemy is a Vampire.
Strengths Extremely strong and fast, very agile. Immune to diseases and sicknesses. They can regenerate at accelerated rates. They have heightened senses. The live a very healthy life. If joined with a pack they can communicate telepathically with one another. In human form as well as wolf form.
Weaknesses Wolf's bane is deadly, when in wolf form silver can be deadly if breaks the skin and enters blood stream. If silver is simply placed upon the wolf's form it will begin to burn the flesh until it breaks the skin. If they die in wolf form they return to human form dead. Anger can set off a change uncontrollably, and immense pain can change it back. Fire and dismemberment.
When filling out the application to play a Werewolf, please mention appearance as a wolf as well as human. A picture is not needed unless you have one, if not a description serves perfectly. Please also mention is they are apart of the pack or on their own. [/size][/size]
