Hospital A very busy establishment with its doors always open to appointments and walk ins. The staff here are constantly working to better everyone and get them back on their way. |

Helmira Fire Department The Fire Department has a drill at least once a week, if not everyday. Their main building siren sounds off around six o'clock every evening to make sure its working properly. It's loud and can be heard about a mile away. There are at least four trucks with four garage doors. They keep the town safe from fires and other hazards and also help to rescue animals stuck up in a tree or on telephone poles. |

Helmira Police Department Whenever there's a domestic dispute, wherever there are bad guys, whenever someone is speeding there they will be - the police. Never underestimate them or their tenacity. Of course there's always a bad egg in every bunch. |
