Cheshire Cave

Upon one of the large hills that surrounds the valley town of Helmira there is a system of caves. It begins with the Cheshire Cave that is shaped oddly and inside there are stones of a purplish or pinkish hues. It was once the home of a lynx or some other wildcat whether it was domestic or wild no one is certain anymore. What they are certain of is that the cave might lead to the entrance of hell. Yet there is no real proof other than an ancient seal that cannot be broken without a certain spell and bloodline. Some believe instead of hells door that it is the entrance to a room full of treasure. The system of caves however has led many astray to the point they got so lost they eventually died of starvation. There is a bit of water trickling within and to eat one might be able to eat mushrooms if they're not of the poisonous variety. Others who got lost and then found their way out have oft had to be sent to a mental institution for they'd lost their minds, or so it was believed that they had lost their minds. Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction after-all.
